After Dr. Robin Im earned his BS in Business Administration from USC, he was suddenly inspired by a medical missionary to change careers and pursue healthcare. During his coursework at Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, he served as a Director of the Mobile Dental Clinic, providing dental care to children at underserved elementary schools throughout Southern California, for which he was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award upon his graduation in 2015. Dr. Robin then continued his training at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation National Rehabilitation Center where he earned The Thomas Hatzeson, DDS Outstanding General Practice Resident Award in 2016. Since then, he has practiced in nearly all dental settings you can think of, from private practice to federal clinics to skilled nursing homes to the villages of developing countries — including Guatemala, where he met his wife, Dr. Debra Im. Dr. Robin is a recipient of National Consumer Advisory Board's America's Best Dentists of 2023.
Dr. Debra Im’s journey to dentistry began when she filled in her sixth grade memory book, “When I grow up, I want to be a dentist.” The summer she turned 16, she started her first dental internship and joined her first dental service trip to Mexico. She continued working as a dental assistant while earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine. After graduating in 2013 from Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in 2013, Dr. Debra completed a General Practice Residency at Rancho Los Amigos, where she trained with patients with disabilities and was selected as the Resident of the Year in 2014.
